Why do you blog?

I started blogging since the year 2008 when I was doing my First Year Degree Programme on Biomedical Sciences in Universiti Putra Malaysia. Most of my Kuching friends were studying overseas so they requested me to start blogging since they hardly keep in touch with me. In the beginning, I blogged about a lot of unhappy things happened in my uni life. So it was more like a place for me to express my feelings. Gradually, I changed my style of blogging. I started to blog about food that I eat, places that I travel, my lab work on my blog.

What do you like to blog about?

So basically these are what I am blogging about now. I love to snap pictures of good (and even bad food) to tempt my readers. I like to blog about places that I travel, mostly around Malaysia. And of course I like to blog about funny stuffs that happened during lab sessions since I’m doing Biomedical Sciences. There’s once I blogged about how the lab assistants failed to withdraw my blood and my readers found it fascinating!

What are your favourite blogs?

Kenny Sia was the first blogger who inspired me to blog. He is so creative that he could come out with great and freaky ideas to blog about. For now, XiaXue and Ringo are both my favourite bloggers. Xiaxue are so brave in speaking out what is in her mind and Ringo is so cutesy!

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I spend my free time in blogging and also visiting other people’s blog as well. Of course I love to dine in different places as well as traveling.

Describe yourself in 5 words.

To describe myself in 5 words, I guess that would be outgoing, talkative, hardworking, happening, and perhaps sarcastic?? I’m rather sharp in words as well. I will blog whatever which crosses my mind and I guess this is why I have quite a number of avid readers who follow my blog frequently.

Are you a warm-hearted or cool-headed person?

To describe myself futher, I would say I’m both a warm-hearted and cool-headed person. I can be very out going and talkative at times but when comes to serious stuffs, I would be very cool and attentive.

Tell us something that happened to you in the past week.

I have always been staying in KL most of the time since I’m doing my Degree programme there. But I just came back to Kuching last week for my two months long semester break. It is so awesome to come back to hometown having home cook, meeting my family members, and also my friends in Kuching.

What are the best and worst things about Kuching?

There’s no place other than Kuching serves really good food. I have been mentioning in my blog that Penang food is overrated (Penangnites gonna kill me for that). So what is best about Kuching is the FOOD. Food in Kuching is simply glorious, scrumptious and affordable. I can simply dine in some high class restaurants with affordable price. This is in which I can’t get in anywhere else in Malaysia. However, I think that Kuching is a bit slow in its retail development. I wish to have more shopping malls bringing in more international brands into this city since I’m rather a shopaholic.

Would you rather be good looking or rich?

I would rather be rich than be good looking. I can be a big spender if I want to, so I guess I would opt to be rich than being good looking.

What do you do when you get bored? Draw a picture as your answer.

Since I’m into blogging, I would blog when I’m bored.
