Atmosphere is on the 18th floor of Menara Tun Mustapha (formerly known as the Sabah Foundation Building), 15 minutes away from Kota Kinabalu city centre. It is Borneo's first and only revolving restaurant and bar, specialising in Pacific Rim and local cuisine. Revolving 360 degrees once every hour, Atmosphere is the ideal place to enjoy lunch, high tea or an early dinner. Depending on the time of day, you will either look out on a panorama of Kota Kinabalu, the South China Sea and the Crocker Range in daylight, or the city lights twinkling opposite a sunset sky over the hills in the late evening. And from 9pm to midnight every night, a generous Happy Hour menu offers cocktails at the best prices in town.
Atmosphere offers packages for birthday, wedding, anniversary and corporate events. The restaurant also offers valet parking, live entertainment, free Wi-Fi, and for those with money to burn: a helicopter, yacht or limousine pickup from your hotel. All these extras notwithstanding (including the great view of course), Atmosphere emphasises on affordable dining.
